The Western student benefit plans provide coverage for our services. PurpleCare (undergraduate students) provides 100% coverage for up to $500 for dietitian services annually. SOGS (graduate students) provides 70% coverage for up to $500 for dieittian services annually (doctor’s referral required). If you are on a private insurance plan or your parent’s health plan you will need to check with your specific provider. Most insurance providers offer $300-5000 annually for dietitian services.
Western student benefits plans run from Sept 1st to August 31st, with coverage renewing annually on September 1st.
